Take Cover!

It’s hard to believe that the local meterologists are predicting terrible storms tonight.  This is a picture of the pretty blue skies I came home to today.  Tornados from this?  Really?  Just in case the top part of our house blows away tonight, I’m finishing up the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.

Watch vs. Warning

We have a Tornado Watch everyone!

I get so confused with Watch vs. Warning.  For the record, Warning is more severe.

I’ve always thought that Watch should be the more severe one.  You know, like someone just WATCHED a tornado hit and the other would be like a WARNING that a tornado could hit.

Anywho, I just always have to think really hard when I hear we have a Tornado Watch or Warning.  It’s the opposite of what my common sense tells me.  And my common sense is all whacked out – just ask my family.
